What Affects the Price?

Every dent is different, which is why we provide individual estimates rather than a flat rate. Here's what our technicians assess when working out a price:

  • Dent size: Larger dents require more time and more delicate tool work. A 1cm ding and a 8cm crease are very different jobs.
  • Dent depth: Shallow, round dents are simpler to remove. Deeper dents require more pressure and progressively more time.
  • Panel location: Some panels are easier to access than others. Roof dents and tight-edge dents take longer to reach and fix.
  • Proximity to edges: Dents near the edge of a panel are harder to work safely without risking overshoot.
  • Number of dents: Multiple dents in the same area or on the same visit are often cheaper per dent — we're already set up and on-site.

What's Always Included?

No matter the size or complexity of the repair, every NoDents booking includes the following — no extra charges:

  • Free estimate: Upload photos or call us — we'll give you an accurate price range before committing to anything.
  • Mobile service: We come to you anywhere in Adelaide metro. No call-out fee for standard metro bookings.
  • Full dent removal: We don't do partial repairs. The dent is removed completely or we don't charge.
  • LED quality inspection: Every repair is inspected under specialist lighting before we call it done.
  • Satisfaction guarantee: If you're not happy, we make it right. No charge until you are.

How NoDents Compares to a Panel Beater

For dents where the paint is still intact — which covers the majority of everyday damage — PDR is dramatically cheaper than traditional panel beating. A small door ding that costs $150–$200 with NoDents could cost $400–$700 at a panel shop, because they're removing the panel, applying filler, and respraying.

Beyond cost, PDR preserves your original factory paint, which matters enormously for resale value. A respray — even a good one — is detectable and will show up as a repair. A PDR repair leaves no trace.

Payment methods

We accept cash, bank transfer, and all major credit and debit cards. Payment is due on completion of the repair.

No upfront deposit

We don't require a deposit to book. Pay only when the job is done and you're satisfied with the result.

Insurance jobs

We can invoice directly to your insurer for hail damage and other covered events. Ask us for details.

Understanding Dent Repair Pricing in Adelaide

Dent repair pricing in Adelaide varies significantly depending on who you ask and what method they use. Traditional panel shops typically charge $300–$1,000 for a single panel repair because their process involves sanding, filling, priming, and respraying — a multi-hour, multi-step process with significant material costs.

Paintless dent repair is fundamentally different. No materials are consumed in the process — our technician uses hand tools to restore the metal mechanically. That difference in process is why PDR can be priced at 30–60% of what a panel shop would charge for the same job.

Being a mobile service also removes the overhead of running a fixed workshop — rent, utilities, equipment maintenance. Those savings flow through to our pricing. You get a professional result at a price that reflects the actual cost of the work, not the overhead of the premises.

Within PDR pricing, the main variable is time. Larger, deeper dents require more working time and more delicate technique. A dent near the edge of a panel requires more care to avoid overcorrection. Multiple dents on the same panel or vehicle can be done more efficiently — setup costs are shared across the job.

The best way to get an accurate price for your specific dent is to submit photos through our estimate form. We review every submission individually and provide a price based on what we can actually see, not a generic quote based on category alone.

Our pricing is also all-inclusive for Adelaide metro. The price in your estimate is the price you pay at completion — we don't add call-out fees, fuel levies, or any other charges after the fact.

Pricing Questions We Get Asked

Why is PDR so much cheaper than a panel beater?

Panel beating involves removing the panel, applying filler, sanding, and respraying — an expensive multi-step process requiring a full workshop setup, paint booth, and significant material costs. PDR uses specialist hand tools to repair the dent mechanically, with no consumables, no paint, and no panel removal. The process is fundamentally simpler, which is why it costs less.

Do you charge more for coming to me?

No — there is no call-out fee for standard Adelaide metro bookings. The quote you receive is the total price you pay. Our pricing already accounts for travel within the metro area.

Can I get a discount for multiple dents?

Yes — if you have multiple dents on the same vehicle or the same visit, the per-dent cost is typically lower. Once we're on-site and set up, additional dents on the same panel or nearby panels take less marginal time. Get an estimate and we'll factor this in.

Is the estimate I receive binding?

Your estimate is based on the photos you submit, and we stand behind it. In rare cases where a dent is more complex than photos suggest, we will discuss any difference with you before proceeding — never after. You won't receive a surprise invoice.
